Good evening, (or should I say morning??)
Recently I noticed an ultra cool stardoll trend around dollyworld. I've seen it every where from privledged members, to non-superstar in on the latest trends. The trend is the closed eye makeup. This trend is literally everywhere . Starbazaar's are filled with the made-up eyes, with the high price tags you almost pair with the bazaar. Today I will show you how to make this trend yourself for a quarter of the price.
Step one: Start off by going to the stardesign jewelery. You will need to choose a type of earring. I chose the 3 dollar long and dangly ones pictured above. The type does not matter as long as you choose earrings. We then need to make the earrings translucent. Then make the earrings a light colour, preferrably the colour of your hair or a tan colour. Something that is not too noticable. In my experience I find that the two colours (highlighted in red above) work the best.
Step Two: On the second page of the jewels, you will find these purple feathers. They are in the last box of the third row. Take a feather and place it over the eye with the black edge on the outer corner. Enlarge it to an appropriate size, so that it will fit on your medoll (the mannequin and the medoll are not the same size) This is easier to do if you scroll in as close as possible. Duplicate the feather and reverse it for the opposite eye.
Step Three: On the same page of jewels in fourth row are some brown feathers with a black tip. Turn these black. You will then adjust the size of the feather to make it look like eyelashes. You want to put it fairly close to the bottom of the coloured feather, not too close but fairly. Duplicate and repeat on the opposite eye.
And that is all! You can then go to change the colour of the first feathers to create different looks. There are some great colour combinations.
The final prouduct:
Note: These are my first pair and are not the best I will admit. But just as a warning make sure to duplicate if you notice my eyes are different sizes above. As well you may have to change your eye's to make them small enough to fit under the eyeshadow. I added the black eye shadow from sunny bunny to make the look better and fill in areas of my inner eyes due to the change in size between the two eyes.
Best of all?
The price
Not too shabby.....
