Hello SDV readers!
First of all, let me introduce myself: my name's Athena, I'm 16 years old, a fashion blogger and lover! supa_star4real invited me to write for this blog which I feel so lucky to be a part of!
Hey, I almost forgot!
My username's TheSavvyone and even though my account is really recent, my experience with stardoll isn't. I used to be on SD long before it hit 100 million users and I must say things were a little more simple back then..I also have another confession to make: I have never blogged for a stardoll-related website before, so this is really new to me. Which means, be gentle with me. :P
So you must know this little competition called "Miss Stardoll World"...yeah you might have noticed these tons of 'vote me, vote me' in guestbooks, comments, parties, broadcast messages and literally everywhere on Stardoll. People write huge stories on their presentations begging for votes, pleading by saying it's their 'dream' to become MSW, and I'm like, seriously guys? THAT is your dream? I swear people don't even say 'hi' on stardoll anymore. Instead they say "Vote me". It's crazy.
But, there's always the good side. Since everyone wants that damn title, they at least try to dress better and generally bring out a more fabulous side of themselves in order to attract more votes. I think that's positive and that's mainly the reason why Stardoll runs these kind of competitions. So I encountered many interesting outfits by popular dolls and commoners this week, and I'd like to say a few words for each.

Well, not too-impressive but you don't always need crazy chains and feathers and curtains worn as skirts to admire a good outfit. Pulled-together looks good to me. It's kind of vintage-y, back-to-school chic with a splash of color. Besides, this is an outfit you'd see on a real person and you would like it. Some may find it blah but I think it's cool. Not crazy fabulous, but cool.
7. ashy_loves_you
So here's ashy_loves_you rocking an ultra-glamorous total golden look with a hint of edge to it. Now, I'm not totally sure if the thing hanging from the shoulder is supposed to be some sort of Rapunzel hair or connected to the dress. Personally, I prefer the second option and that's what I'm gonna go with. I love it, I think it's genius if she thought it that way and again, it doesn't have to be too heavy to be fab. Plus, the clutch is a favorite.
6. lulla96
Personally, this outfit was one of my favorites, I loved her bag, her shoes, even the tatoo looks cool. She's doing rocker chic(k) but without overdoing it. I think the amount of color is just right and all the pinches of black add up to a perfectly put-together look.
5.Lizs
Plaid is so in this season, and it looks divine on her. Not too-scottish or too-grandma-ish, or too school-ish. This Versus dress looks ah-mazing and so does the bag. I wouldn't mind if she had used a different belt, without the LV monogram on, and if the shoes were in a different color, a little more pop maybe. It is very nice overall, though.
4. ForeverGorgeous
Okay, this look is KILLER. If you ask me to define fabulous, that's my definition. I love everything about this look, EVERYTHING. Even the hair, which under other circumstances would have been a distaster, doesn't bother me all that much. Effortless chic at its best.
3. Alphonsinne
Alphonsinne looks so beautiful in this ensemble, I love how everything blends in, it is a wonderful creation. Btw, I have noticed how everybody is trying to take it down a notch, by limiting their color choices to black, white, earthy tones and metallics. I guess it's mostly because Fall's here and color blocking is no more...However, I always love a splash of color in my outfits, on SD and irl.
2. BeverlyHillsHei
And, as I was talking about the lack of color I've noticed lately, BAM! BeverlyHillsHei goes all spring/summer Gucci with this adorable combo. There you go girl, who said summer's over? Huh?
1. .pease.
And last, but not least, the winner of this week, is .pease. who looks more than stunning in this total black look! She looks badass chic, with this gorgeous frock and skyscraper heels!
