Yes, thats right. The Hacker Weeks. Hopefully these weeks will become viral news. From now (01/07/11) to the 31st, well be focused on the horrible epidemic for the rest of the month. Now of course we'll have our regular posts, but we need to also make sure that all of you know the hackers are. As a thanks at the end of some "The Hacker Weeks" posts I will give you some freebies. Now trusting friends, people, and others is something we can all do on a site like stardoll. But who is really to be trusted? We all have to figure it out.
Story :
I've been hacked before. And let me tell you, it does not feel good.
One day I"m really excited because I just became Superstar, then the next day
I'm so upset because all my money has been taken.
I logged into my account, as usual. Checked my messages, responded to guestbook comments, just the usual stuff.
I got bored and went shopping in the Starplaza. Next thing I notice, I only had about 20 Stardollars to spend. The day before I had just become SS and had 400 SD that I was saving. But I never got to use them.
Turns out the hacker sold something from two accounts. Apparently I "bought" a hideous spongebob shirt and leggings from one person, and "bought" some ugly dress from some other person.
Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I contacted Stardoll and they did nothing!
They didn't even have the decency to reply to my report.
To this day, nothing has been done about it and I'm still not 100% sure of who hacked me.
Never give out your password, to anyone you can't 100% trust! You WILL regret it.
P.S. I never even gave my password, I don't know how I was hacked.
