Tron: Legacy is the sequal to the 80s movie Tron:
Tron was a huge deal at the time, being that the visual effects were so ahead of its time. Making a sequal to this classic movie was no small task.
Tron: Legacy is the story of Kevin's son, Sam. When Sam was just a boy his father went missing, leaving the young boy with nothing but stories of a world called The Grid. Years later Sam finds his father's stories to be true and discovers why he was away all these years.
This was my first time seeing a movie in 3D, and I found it rather fascinating. It was amusing to see things pop out at you (I fought the urge to duck several times) but it was slightly distracting.
My father pointed out that the real world was seen in 2D, but the Grid was shown in 3D.
The legandary Daft Punk did a few of the songs in the movie, and they were also spotted as the Djs in the club scene:
Also in the club scene was Michael Sheen as Castor, better known as Aro from the Twilight Saga.
