Makeup trend!

Hello again readers, :)
Todays trend is actually a pretty old one, it became very popular somewhere in the begging of 2010. Superstars, or girls who owned two or more shades of makeup would do their eyes as shown in number 1:

In my opinion this is a great trend! I definitely love the first option better than the second :) Number 2 was a more common trend a few years ago... Ive also noticed that number 2 seems to be used more by girls under the age of 12 so this makes me think that now, because older people joined makeup on stardoll has become more elaborate!
Please tell us your opinions on this trend. :)
*note. The makeup on both is practically the same (not counting the eyeshadow) and just because the 1st option might look better on my medoll doesnt meant it will on someone elses.
